All life is Wakan. So also is everything which exhibits power, whether in action, as the winds
and drifting clouds, or in passive endurance, as the boulder by the wayside. For even the
commonest sticks and stones have a spiritual essence which must be revered as a
manifestation of the all pervading mysterious power that fills the universe.
Francis Laflesche

We first knew you a feeble plant which wanted to grow. We gave it to you ; and afterward, when we
could have trod you under our feet, we protected you ; and now you have green to be a mighty

we, who were the tall pines of the forest, have become a feeble plant and need your protection.

depression is the state of mind in which dialog no longer is a finding mission.
in which the foundation common to all is broken up like after an atomic explosion.
in which our frequency patterns are no longer in harmony.
in which all reality is deemed illusion.

it's all in my mind only. i only look into mirrors. broken..

wholeness and individual "choice" between i and non-i without any distinction and appreciation, but indifference supposed to bridge that..?

Native American Wisdom - Page 7 379470_broken_mirror_3
definitely non-i. knowing the reason, but left alone with it growing..

lavender orchid, many thanks for sharing. I was not aware of the Nov 9th riots and injustices
done. If I am may ask what ethnicity as well as religion do you follow? I ask because I see so
much multi culturalism. It shouldn't make a difference. You do not have to answer if you don't
wish. I am half Puerto Riccan & half Bellorussian. I am existentialist in my outlook, and disposition.

Well thanks for answering. lavender I hang my head in shame, at not understanding at times,
what it is you wish to share. It is as if, I have to decipher it. It is very frustrating. I ask
a question, which I hope is reasonable and the answer is opaque and hard to decipher accurately.
It is as if I have to guess. Much love. Much respect for you. Many blessings and I hope things
get better.

A Native to know :
In early 1800, Sacagawea was kidnapped from her tribe, the Shoshone, by Crow Indians and sold
to Mandans. She married a French trapper, and by the time she was 18, she had his child. She
remained a captive until the fur trapper made a deal with Lewis and Clark that allowed Sacagawea
to be the interpreter and guide they needed to lead them through the wild terrain. Sacagawea
and her child made history when they embarked on the lengthy journey. She was eventually
reunited with her Shoshone people.

Brother, listen to us, your younger brothers. As we see something in your eyes that looks
dissatisfaction, we now clear them. You have credited bad stories against us. We clean your ears,
that you may hear better hereafter. We wish to remove every bad thing. from your heart, that you
may be as good as your ancestors. We saw you coming with an uplifted tomahawk in your hand.
We now take it from you, and throw it up to God. Brother, as you are a warrior, take hold of this
chain of friendship, and let us think no more of war, in pity of our old men, women, and children.
We, too, are warriors. (addressing British Colonel Henry Bouquet, November 12, 1764)
