I died as a mineral and became a plant
I died as a plant and became an animal
I died as an animal and I was man
Why should I fear...when was I ever less for dying?
Yet, once more I shall die as man
To soar in the blessed realm
But even from Godhood I must pass on

The Mathnawi

Creeds to live by....

Favorite sentence : You'll never guess what I just did....

Daily measure : Man accuses first in other what he fears the most in himself.

Daily truth : It is intrinsically easier to forgive yourself than anyone else. Try to always bring it home, resolve it and put it to rest. Whatever it may be.

Universal truth : The karma is not always yours !

Warm wishes

Thank-you for the welcome Light Sun and Lavender Orchid and Mayflo. Did I over do it with the poem? Just felt like the right thing to say.
I see you are into numerology L.O., me too however I am just learning. Reading your post to Mayflo about the number 9 brings to mind one of my favorite Druidic verses...

Not of my mother or of father was my body or my blood
Spellbound by Gwynden, he formed of 9 flowers, 9 buds of various kind
From Primrose of the mountains
Broom, Meadowsweet and Tyme
9 powers of nine flowers
9 powers in me combined...

My numbers are on the short 11-9-11-9 with a challenge of 3, giggle, and to boot I'm a Sagitarius. Rolling Eyes

I guess I am at a loss as to what to say as both an introvert with the social skills of a shrimp and just plain nervous, well...hence the poetry?

Ask me a question or 2?

nope. you certainly sound refreshing (and much more robust than me!!!) love it and will certainly ask as soon as questions pop up, alright?

lol. do you know how much there is ALWAYS to learn? you are no doubt a creative person with - my guess - a very practical streak "to boot".

Hi Lavender Orchid, well I certainly sound practical at times, however I have an impossible time conforming. At times I can't even conform to my own will. A tough skill to learn how to use. I think my strength to drive a concrete truck for many years as the only woman amongst hundreds of men came from that paticular mindset. On the whole an awfull experience, but boy am I tough now. I can't believe how many days I sat in my truck and cried. They couldn't get rid of me though, bully for me.
Now, 9 years later I am semi-retired ar 38, single and loving evey minute of it with a 16 year old son who is way wiser than he realises.

A little about me...a little about you?

All introverts have the capacity to shake the world. Can you get out the door is the real question. Grounding is key, from bare feet on a forest floor to a well earned critisism.

My mother is the ultimate detatched socialight who is always trying to get close to you but can't figure out how to remove her arms that are holding you at arms length. She is a rock in distressing times never showing her vulnerability. On the flip side she is a nurse, very respected for her ability to work with mentally challenged people, she works hard on a one to one basis with them. She is also very impracticle at times and wears rose coloured glasses always. What a woman.

I choose question over answer

A little about me...and you are?

floored, first off \!! and then amused: what a girl! don't tell me she's every bit a double virgo Rolling Eyes
can you imagine that sagittarians used to be my pet peeves for quite a while? but then, i found some nice girl friends first, and even one very interesting male, who are every bit the intriguing archers seeming to force that arm's length! their wits usually come with the sort of self-assertiveness that other signs may not have "earned" in many lifetimes. said with much admiration and no envy at all. and with rose-coloured glasses on: a british u as a give-away?? Hi actually she is a Taurus and I had a hard time with Sags too. We are not all alike. A visionless Sag is like a destructive comet. Look the hell out ! I am glad you have been able to reconcile with at least a few of us.
I have found with age an easier time tolerating just about everybody. As much as I like to study myself, I like to study others. That is where I get my greatest insight. I say this with honesty but I still have a very small outside life. I am content to sit in a corner and watch, speak if spoken too, but happier to not.

So, what is your affinity with trees? Please do not feel weird, just in case you might, as I often do when trying to explain myself. Trees have always been my friends. As a little girl my dreams involved universes sprouting out of the seeds of trees. Spending hours in the top of a tree swaying in the breeze with nothing but my thoughts and those shared with me from nature. I still do that periodically.

I suppose the tree questions could of been written on the page of tree pictures but when I try to negotiate through the various forums my computer locks up. It is just a small net book and the CPU overloads a lot. No biggie.....

I haven't even read all of the new imputs yet, I'll do that now.

So as a double master number who am I supposed to be. 11-22.....
That is my quest at the moment, to define what that means and to learn how to be it.

Just for fun

Sharon Trina Anderson
December 18, 1970

My two master numbers....

11- Allows me to understand how truly simple and powerful it all is. The connections we all share. The vastness of our cosmos and others. There is nothing cryptic about it. I feel very lucky to see and know what I do. To understand quantum knowing and super positioning as the easiest way to explain the connection. To have absolutely no boundaries and fear.
To have every generation of family that has came and past before me communicate with me. (John Edwards Crossing Over)
To know that for every explanation known to man about the higher consciousness, words and restrictions do not apply. Thought is the only rule that applies. ( I am sure in part this personal reality is governed by my authority complex).

22- Has allowed me to build. I build in so many ways...perhaps in the most special way was the years spent building expansive Lego towns with my son.
It is a inherent nature for me to restructure. Not only did I spend my time in the trenches trying to restructure women's rights in construction but at that time I also spearheaded a type of logging business that will be responsible for saving millions of trees. No, I cannot get rid of the logging industry but I am smart enough to use their own direction for my purposes. Saving trees.
At this stage in the game I am still building. Now I manage a very healthy trust with 2 others. With this trust will come the replanting of thousands of hectares in north Scotland, a exclusive resort in England. There is a not-for-profit university/r-d idea on the table too as well as a very long term hydro project in Nova Scotia Canada with a very interesting platform. I must not forget the Secret Santa Soc. too, what fun.

What am I looking for? Perhaps a way share why and how this all possible. I wish I was a better speaker. Perhaps all I need is the chance to talk. I am getting this here so far. Thanks.

Hugs all around, warm cozy fire and hot chocolate. A very few people with whom you could open up and be weird with no fear...............ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....I do feel weird a lot, I like it.

weird or not, you communicate pretty well.
albeit very different from "me" who, perhaps due to very different circumstances, gathers and redistributes tiny observations like seeds in the wind. that may seem even weirder.

you seem to have no trouble with being usefuly in whatever you are doing. that's great, and i have always liked folks with such an ability.

societies do have social structures, and my circumstances "demand" another pathway: challenging social orders and their impact on overall health and prosperity.

i do realize my own need for different communicative forms and modes, the recognition of their rhythms and sound as well as their conscious and not so conscious practice influencing the whole.

Yes, different but not without my ability to grasp. From a very young age these seeds of which you make mention have been the cause and effect of everything. Thank -you for being a seed gatherer and distributor. The most valued of contributions.

It is not so much that I am useful but that I can see how other people can be useful. It is akin to assessing a skillset at a boardroom table. The foundation of delegation is understanding a persons strengths and needs.
My connections run deep, I can see so much potential in everything. Potential for good and for not so good.

societies do have social structures, and my circumstances "demand" another pathway: challenging social orders and their impact on overall health and prosperity.

Is this something you do from the safety of your keyboard or is this pathway a part of your career/social life too. In what ways do you put this into action. Internal action is just as important as external.

As many types of seed exist so does your capacity to grasp many languages. A true gift.

action abounds; it may not require any extra effort added by me. my "activity" is much more perceptive and interpretative, with all the discretion a translator should have; a keyboard may be instrumental in some ways, career and social lives seem to have become subject to overboarding management though, and i do admit this is a problem..

should a void re-create seemingly broken connections: the global and local directives need not so much conformity with economic pressures as confirmation of every person's purpose in life. diversity expressing rather than diversion obscuring that need.

One must be very careful about changes wished upon another's circumstances. As hard as it is to view suffering we all know how inherent it is in living. Whatever lesson we have to learn in this life it is our experiences that give it. How do you know, when you effect a change based on anothers suffering that you are not sentencing this person to another whole lifetime of suffering. It is not your job to end it. It is your job to facilitate it. All lessons in life, the sooner the got, the better. True?
It is wrong to think as you map out existence, the calling of the interpreter, that your words and deeds will end a struggle. Your words are meant to give understanding on how to carry the load, not put it down. But how to make the most of the struggle and accept its inevitability.

Take free aid to the many third world countries in Africa. All the trillions of dollars that have been funneled into that area, that need, that suffering, and nothing tangible has changed. If the aid stopped the wells would dry up. Every step forward that has been supported by this aid will end up a step backwards.
The powers that are responsible for this situation just sit back and get wealthier.
We have in effect, with our need to change suffering, actually prolonged the grief by not allowing the peoples of those nations to wallow in their suffering long enough to pick themselves up. To feel desperation great enough to bring the change on themselves. Considering the amount of people on this world who suffer greatly, combined with the understanding we choose our re-incarnate lives, is that suffering needless? I think not.

Perhaps it can't change. Perhaps a situation like this is needed to facilitate human growth.

Be so very careful of what you wish for, what changes you desire to effect. No on will ever be born on Earth knowing and seeing all. That is inevitability. Hail the existence of Karma.

Thankful to know death does not exist, only change.

i41 do not advocate any desire in the use of "effecting change" since mankind's entanglements are more than painfully clear to me. also, pretending this not to affect me would only add to the tragedy.
consciousness and awareness of needs, however, remain intact and can be responded to.
interest in such, however, seems marginal. and hence, left to discretion how to communicate and correspond.
any question could entail a quest as well.
most answers amount to much more no than yes. imho.

I there again, to pretend things don't exist is impossible. However, don't let it get to you. Perhaps that is the single most important lesson from philosophy that I have gotten to date. Embrace it, get to the bottom of it, share your understanding and grow.

ps I am not computer tag literate, what does imho mean?

I send you strength to understand and carry all you find.

Before our body existed,
One energy was already there.
Like jade, more lustrous as it's polished,
Like gold, brighter as it's refinded.
Sweep clear the ocean of birth and death,
Stay firm by the door of total mastery.
A particle at the point of open awareness,
The gentle firing is warm.

likewise, one should (not!) even have to ask:

whom do you include or exclude when using "i"?

does it matter what anyone minds?

Sad
