There was once a Bull
whose body was full
and he was very strong
His owner treated him nicely
and all was well..
One day the owner bragged in town
that his bull could haul a hundred carts
filled with goods to their destination
They bet against him a hundred coins
to say he couldn't
Next day he rode this Splendid being into the town
and they yoked him to a hundred carts
He cracked the whip and said to the Bull,
"Pull, you rascal, pull!"
The Bull stood still, not a muscle did he move
And the man lost a lot of money that day
Later that day, the Bull saw the man sobbing
for the money he had lost
and asked the man pointblankly (straight from the hoof)
"Why today, did you treat me that way?
Have I ever been bad that you should crack the whip on me?
and why did you call me a rascal today?"
The man was taken aback at a talking Bull,
but apologized for treating him that way,
So the Bull said "Tomorrow, go to town and triple your bet
and treat me nice and I sure won't let you down again!"
When the carts were hooked, the Bull winked at the man
And the man said, "My dear friend will you be willing to pull
these hundred carts for me?"
And the Bull replied to everyone's astonishment
"Yes, my friend, I surely will!"
and then the Bull pulled the carts with ease
