I am not quite sure when i realized that life in Africa is a mission. I suppose when one notices that those with a beastly attitude don't survive very long; contrary to popular conceptions, that is.

to be continued...

Very often its the natives who teach the missionaries the very transcendental nature of their own religion. The parable of the good Samaritan teaches that it is not the formal outward appearance that gives the correct religious teaching, but something beyond titles and social positions.

I'll take the eternal return concept, but not in a exact way. The return is always subtle in its difference, and it is the difference which is always potentially infinite. Once could reduce all stories to a single issue of antagonist vs protagonist and then synthesis; but this does gross injustice to the infinite ways that these motifs can be expressed.

well that was a bit ironic
i clicked the link about the spy thing
which describes how systems become dysfunctional due to govt hacking
and the computer in the icafe hung to the point where i had to
use another machine

!

so much for the mission!
i cannot say i really blame the american govt for spying
especially after pearl harbor!
and then of course 911

but i wish they'd be a bit more subtle about it
the processor on that machine claimed i was using 50% of the memory
when there were no systems running or even capable of running

it was working fine before then

hey i'm an open book
ask me anything
i kind of feel flattered if you want to spy on me

and i think thats what makes people do crazy stuff
like random attacks
they just feel invalidated and need to feel worthwhile
and that they're worth something to somebody

its similar to how the mission is
dealing with a dozen beggars per day
gets exhausting
and you can only boost egos for so long
until they start trying to klingon

its sad having to ignore people
but one sometimes has to do it
or one gets inundated

the ANC govt are the ones tasked with
dealing with poverty
and there is seemingly no effort made by them
to find opportunities for people to get off the streets

och
i cannot really blame them too much
but when you see the president with 25 kids
having kids as much as possible
then it seems like they're deliberately trying to swamp
the place with people

as it is affirmative action claims blacks to be disadvantaged,
but their population has multiplied by 10 times in the last century
whereas whites have been decreasing for the last half a century

its sad to see how people easily buy into the poor-pity-us (but we're actually thriving) lie
then again

the weather is nice
and so long as one does not eat sugar or gluten
then the health is good

still beggars on the streets cause more racial animosity than anything
and eventually the world has to realize that the emperor is not so much naked
as he is a flaming foggat!

So i was borne in a tiny Scottish village in the heart of Zululand.
Pietermaritzburg started as an an inland outpost to ward off the Zulu's from
the much larger English port city of Durban.

My family moved westwards to Xhosaland (aka Eastern Cape), about 1000km
away, when i was about 8yrds old; to the medium-sized English city of Port Elizabeth.
I now live at the inland Scottish outpost of Grahamstown which was designed
to ward of the Xhosa.

It is my fourth time living in 'the city of saints' so the eternal returns, and returns
and then again some more returns...

The mission stretches beyond
this funny little village

https://exploringyourmind.rpg-board.net/t311-einstein-s-bogus-relativity

this global village

its raining on a warm summer evening
i like
the way the night and the light and the water mix with the stars in the gutter
it reminds me of
the nothingness
that gnaws at the insides
and the shadows that feel so real

and the littleness of majesty

we cannot help but try be great
and in doing so we crush the insects

poor little insects,
poor great giants
all is vanity

and yet without the striving
vanity is less than all
and the void
consumes us

i heard a supergoddess say
that if we belittle others it comes back and
smacks us in the face

and yes of course she's right
but she's a supergoddess so
we dare not disagree
or we'll be stomped upon

and if we do, then we become
littler than the littlest belittle
oh what
fun
to prattle prittle

The problem of street people
just gets worse though
and the govt seems to
like the notion
of harrassment of white people
in a blatant racist fashion
as no attempts are made to solve the
problem. In fact the manner in which
overpopulation is elected to be president
underscores the ANC strategy of
ourbreeding white people and sending
the lowlife in our direction to try
and irritate us away.

I'm 44 with no kids nor much ambition
for any as its hardly safe to just
walk down the street without
constant harrassment that
is instigated in a culture of
attrition.

In the last few months I've
had to defend old people on 4 different
occasions by the same missfit,
who now targets and tries to provoke
me into attacking him, with the other
street people egging him on.

This aint gonna end well.

It takes quite a lot of self control
to not strike someone who sticks his
drunken face in mine at every opportunity.

Its obviously deliberate.

Say Hallelujah!
