yesterday, in the tram, there was a family, to judge from their looks, possibly refugees from afghanistan, or from iran .... soft-sounding foreign language .... dad looked a bit scrawny, but appeared to be a good family man. mom, a beauty wearing a black head scarf. 3 kids, in the range from 5 to three, and talk about pretty ones \!!: 2 well-behaved boys, and their little sister not yet fully weaned from temper tantrums .... she started shouting about something in obvious protest. i must have looked a bit shocked, and she immediately put on the shame game (looking away). but her brother, gave me such a knowing smile you would never expect a four-year old to show .... brief looks from one to the others: wow, this family had a great communication system securely established. it made me laugh. the day got bright in an instant: brief smiles from every family member in my direction, saying so much without words.
